Species: Capsicum annuum | Origin: Mexico | Pungency: Medium
Inca Lost is a very prolific variety that produces masses of small, tapered, upright growing chillies which start green and ripen to red. An American seller by the name of Beth Boyd (Aji Queen), who owned the website peppermania.com, was one of the first people to sell seeds for this variety. She claimed to have obtained them from a Mexican salesman who told her that the variety originates from Mexico, despite its name. Inca Lost chillies have a very good flavour and are great for spicing up soups, stews, sauces and rice dishes. They also
dry very easily and make a very tasty powder.
