Habanero Numero Diez
Species: Capsicum chinense | Origin: Mexico | Pungency: Extremely Hot
Habanero Numero Diez comes from the Yucatán Peninsula region of Mexico and is a similar variety to Orange Habanero. The four differences that I've noticed are (A) the plants have a slightly different growth habit, (B) they're not as prolific, (C) the chillies are smaller, and (D) when fully ripe they appear to have a slight apricot coloured hue to them. Apart from that the chillies are just as hot and just as tasty.
